MENDONÇA, BA - Bruno Oubam

Bruno de Abreu Mendonça (Bruno Oubam, artistic pseudonym) is a multimedia artist and researcher from Goiânia/GO who discusses issues related to electronic games, art and technology, aesthetics, creative processes, visual culture and experiments in mixed media. Bachelor in Visual Arts - Graphic Design (2009 - FAV/ UFG), Master in Art and Visual Culture (2014 - PRPPG FAV/ UFG) and PhD in Art and Visual Culture (2022 - PRPPG FAV/ UFG), was CAPES scholarship holder throughout the master's and doctoral period.

 

As an artist, his production encompasses studies on the representation of the feminine, as well as social and philosophical issues through the use of extensive experience with traditional and contemporary media. His works have been exhibited during national and international events. He is a member of the research group Creation and Cyberart (Cria_CIBER), coordinated by prof. Dr. Edgar Silveira Franco.
